If the contracted capacity is exceeded, the company may be held liable for any possible damage to the grid and neighboring businesses. Additionally, the grid operator may ‘suspend’ its obligations, preventing you from using the connection altogether

Adding machinery to the production process or installing charging stations may need to be postponed until there is space available on the grid, which could take years.
